The Madison Lofts

380 MacPherson Avenue

When you hear Madison Avenue, you probably think cut-throat New York advertising, probably Mad Men, Ralph Lauren and Jimmy Choo, maybe a certain Square Garden. You probably also think upscale style, class, 20´s art-deco and so on. All these things and more are embodied in midtown´s Madison Avenue Lofts, a truly singular loft development camped at the foot of Casa Loma. Singular in more ways than one, it´s pretty much the only authentic loft conversion in the whole area, meaning it was once something gritty, industrial and cool and is now something chic and urbane and still très très cool. Once a 1950´s Hydro building recently redesigned by developers Burnac with a little help from architect Paul Northgrave, it now houses 6 floors worth of lofty goodness. More than 200 individual units in fact, each with its own battery of dramatic window banks, polished concrete, exposed columns, juxtaposed against high-end modern finishes. Not to mention the fact that unlike most true loft conversions this gem actually has amenities. How about a fully-equipped exercise facility, saunas, private party room, video lounge, concierge, rooftop terrace with gas BBQ´s, courtyard courtesy of landscape-nerds NAK and tons more? Being this well-located has its privileges too with the Annex, Forest Hill and Yorkville all moments away, world class everything is at your fingertips. Sign up early for the Don Draper treatment. Believe us it´s worth it. Want to live in a building like this? Contact us today!

Casa Loma
Yes, there's a castle here - and it casts a meretricious shadow over everything the area otherwise has to offer but we're not going to dwell on this one overpowering aspect of what is arguably one of Toronto's coolest areas (thank you Scott Pilgrim).
